well. if you truly like him you could wait, i guess, umm... keep being friends with him, get to know him even better, i think that just being with the person you like is enough, even if they don't necessarily like you back as more than friends, seeing them smile is reward enough, knowing they are happy makes you happy, that's how i feel, and who knows what the future holds, maybe one day he will fall for you too, and then the distance between you won't matter.
