Embarrassing moment! Has this ever happened to you!?

Im not overly embarrassed by this because its totally my fault. But the other day I was shopping for pumps and I was wearing a pair of pull on kneehigh boots with my jeans tucked into them! When I picked out a pair of pumps that i liked and wanted to try on, the shop assistant returned with my size and offered to help me with my boots. Stupidly, I agreed forgetting about the fact that I was wearing socks with unicorns on them underneath! The shop assistant pulled of my boot and gave me a look as if to say "how old are you?" It was totally my fault for wearing such a silly pair of socks but has anyone else gone through a similar thing where theyve been wearing a really nice pair of boots only to have the shop assistant help you unzip them, exposing a not so flattering pair of socks?
