This guy wont stop texting me!?

Ok so I recently got out of school for the summer, yay! However, I was on facebook a few nights ago when this guy from my English class, who's really nice but I've barely said two words to him, commented on a status of mine. Then he sent me a message asking if i wanted to talk on chat. He said he moved to virginia and he misses everybody and blah blah. He asked for my number and I gave it to him. Big Mistake. First, he was just texting hi, and what's up and I replied. But then after the second day of him havin my number he claimed that he had a crush on me this year and he still does. I said that's flattering thank you! He replied, do you think we couldve had a thing if I didn't move to virginia? I was like..maybe! I didn't want to say yes because I dont like him! But I can't just say no...that's mean. Then he's like you're the first girl who's ever said we could have a chance. Which of course, made me feel horrible! I eventually ended up saying I had to go to the movies so I couldn't text. That was a lie but I didn't feel like texting all day! He replied with have fun and I love you. Now he keeps blowing up my phone and my facebook! I don't have the heart to tell him I don't like him like that but it's getting really annoying! Please...advice. I'm desperate and horrible with letting people down!
