Would it be better to start over as a college freshman or transfer?

Im transferring from a 4 year NAIA school to a 2 year community college. I have 26 hours of credit i followed a pretty descent fall semester with a horrible spring semester and my gpa is in the 1-2 range i dont know exactly. I definitely plan on transferring to a big 4 year university. so im wondering would i be better off going in as a transfer with a very low gpa and 26 hours or as a freshman with a clean slate????
