I got a ticket back when I was 17 for eluding a police officer. Basically I was making a turn and the cop signaled me to go so I did. When I was making a turn he had told me to stop when I was in the middle of the intersection. I freaked out and went but pulled over to the side right by him. He got to my car and yelled at me and wrote me up a ticket for evading and eluding him. My Dad went to court with me and I told my story and the cop told the judge he did it for my safety but no one was around except for the cop, his partner and I. After I was getting yelled at, his partner said that he didn't think I did anything wrong and was watching the whole thing happen.I also asked him if another car was coming and he said no cars where coming.I then proceeded to tell his partner that I thought this was all awkward since I had just broken up with my boyfriend that morning who is also a cop. I told him who he was and asked if he knew him. He tells me that the officer that is giving me the ticket and my ex are friends!!! I lost the case because my father told me to just plead guilty since I was a minor and now I have this ticket. How long will it stay on my record??�

I've had the same problem. Constantly being harassed by your male friends can be a very hard thing. Maybe you should just really, and I mean REALLY lay it on the line (in a nice-ish) way, that you're not into him like more than a friend and that you'd really appreciate it if he would just let your friendship stay a friendship because his constant pestering is weakening it. I believe that this trait is very useful, but, as all things do, it has downsides. I can relate to some of the things you have described, being objective and frank sometimes works way better then being a little less harsh. Saying what you feel, and lashing out can help you show your real self, and make boundaries that others did not know existed. But I believe that this is a good policy to live by, "If they can't accept you at your worst, then they don't deserve you at your best." Its a wonderful trait to poses, and many its rare to see, and own.

Is it illegal to have your bills sent to a false address?

For the past few years I've been getting bills in the mail for someone with the same last name as me, but whom I do not know and who definitely does not live at my address. They are bills from student loans and, I believe, court costs. My theory is that this person (this person has a weird first name but know it's a she because I googled her) deliberately had her bills sent here in an attempt to evade the costs (I can't imagine how she expects to do that, unless she completely goes off the grid). So I know I'm not responsible for her bills just because she sends them here, but is it a crime to use someone else's address in that way? A one point I received a big stack of bills several inches high all bundled together. Since then I've informed the post office that this person does not live here, and that basically fixed it, but occasionally I still get something addressed to her, and just now I got a phone call from a collector who stated that this person used this address on an application. I think I found this person on Facebook (she has a very rare name); should I message her and tell her to quit sending her mail to me? I'm hesitant though because from the info I got by googling her, she has a criminal record (fraud). And she knows where I live, so I feel like maybe I shouldn't mess with it. Other than that, can charges be pressed or anything?

Well personally i think shadows on any persons faces makes anyone look better so always stand with your back/head to the light. Another thing is to wear a bright matte blush. And try Revelon Photo Ready foundation which doesnt reflect light. Also try a white eyeliner to make your eyes look much brighter, and use concealer with no spf to covr flaws. Singing range after puberty?

A lot of my friends and I are very curious about this. So I am 16, I had this high kiddy voice till about 14, then my voice really dropped. Now I can hit the really low notes, but the high ones do not feel as comfortable. My voice has a very deep undertone, but still sounds like a kid (that's the best way to describe it). Most of my friends that are my age have this same problem as well. Now I have an 18 year old friend who sings, and is done with puberty, and has a great range. Also, many of the bands I listen have singers that are about 20, such as a day to remember, blink 182, and four year strong. I know that NOW these signers are older, but plenty of the recordings and live videos i listen to they were in their early 20's, and could sing quite high. So what I am wondering is, after puberty, will my voice settle, and 'll regain the easier upper register i used to have. I know it wont be like my kiddie voice, but at least a better range again???

Why does my friend compete with me?

My daughter is 6 and she is in the same class as my best friends daughter! Everytime I do anything or go anywhere she copies me! Appeal against Metro fine?

Hi I was travelling by Metro and I had forgot my ticket at home. Actually it was accidental I happen to travel by train expecting my ticket in purse but it wasn't. Unfortunately there was ticket checking on the next station. I kept explaining to Metro staff that I do have a ticket but not at that time. They collected my details and send me a fine of $175. Does your local shelter also have a low cost clinic? Ours does spay/neuters but also offers shots, and if you get them all there is normally a discount. It can get pretty expensive since they will need multiples of most of the shots as they grow up. Im not overly embarrassed by this because its totally my fault. But the other day I was shopping for pumps and I was wearing a pair of pull on kneehigh boots with my jeans tucked into them! Hi, so I met this guy when I was 15, we were both in the Youth&Government program in the YMCA. We took three trips throughout the year, the 1st in November, the 2nd in January, and the last trip in February. The first time I saw him, we were in the initial assembly, I was seated with my YMCA and him with his. I turned around, looked up and we made eye contact. It was the weirdest feeling ever, I knew right away that i was physically attracted to him but I've been physically attracted to plenty of guys and I've never felt the way I did when I laid eyes on him. Like a normal typical teenage girl, I told my friend i thought he was cute and told her not to tell him and of course she did against my wishes. Whatever she told him (because I ran away when she called his name) he would give me this "I know you like me" look. That same weekend at a dance, I was sitting in a chair, he walked up to me and danced with me in front everybody, all eyes were on us and I was in shock. After that night, I thought i was in love but as a young girl I didn't pay any attention to it. The next time I seen him was in Feb., he was dating a girl in his YMCA and i was crushed. He told a friend (whom I was also friends with) that he liked me but because the other girl asked him out first, he chose her. So fast foward to years later. I didn't see him until senior year, a mutual friend of mine had a party and i went along with my boyfriend at the time. My heart was beating so fast when i saw him but I tried to ignore it. That was in 2008, almost 2 years went by before I actually him again. In between those years, he would come across my mind frequently, it would be in the middle of the night or while i was in class, or while I was praying that he would come across my mind. I eventually found him on myspace but i began to visit his page so much that i felt like a cyber stalker. So i deleted him. I found him a year and a half later on facebook&requested him, he accepted me. I started to see these weird signs that had alot to do with him, i would go onto a person's random page and the person's first name would be his first name and the person's last name would be MY first name. mind u my name is very rare, not to mention ive never met anyone with my name, his name is a woman's name so i know it was not a coincidence. Anywho, i would be driving and i would see the craziest things that was linked to him. His close friend requested me on facebook and started inviting me to clubs (he was a party promoter) I found myself going to these clubs to see him, hoping that he would say something that he would confirm what I was feeling. When he seen me he hugged me with a smile and asked how i was doing and that it was nice to see me. (which wasnt too flattered by, Ive seen him interact the same way with other people) My heart would beat so hard and fast that I thought it would just pop right out my chest. I stopped going out to clubs for 6 months due to religious reasons and when i did go out i made sure that I would not see him. This man, whom I know little of would cross my mind so often that it scared me, I prayed about and asked God to reveal to me what was really going on or if there was anything to know. Suggestions for a Good Gaming Desktop?

Alright so my situation is that my laptop is supposed to be impossible to change out graphics cards which I find very hard to believe. I'm looking for a good gaming desktop for maybe 600 to 700 bucks since my current laptop is simply terrible for gaming. I'd prefer a great desktop refurbished over an overall okay new gaming desktop. I've been told ASUS, Gateway, and Alienware are all good brands although Alienware is rather expensive. I want a desktop that has the capability of running GTA IV smoothly on normal settings. Ok so I recently got out of school for the summer, yay! One of my friends,alex, has been one of my bestfriends for almost 3 years now. We have known eachother since we were 3 and now we are 15. we became really close 3 years ago. we have had some issues in the past though. she met a new bestfriend last year and kinda left me. i became good friends with alex's new bestfriend this past year, but alex treats me bad. she excludes me and only texts me when she needs help with school, or when she and taylar (her bestfriend) are in a fight. basically she uses me, but when we actually hangout together (which is rare) things are great! she acts like my bestfriend again. about a month ago, alex and i got into a fight. i finally stood up to her about everything and she felt terrible. i sent her a long message about everything, and she promised me things would change and we would be bestfriends again. i actually believed her, and for about a week, things did change. but as the summer has started, she never talks to me. this past week she invited me to go to dinner with her, and i couldn't go the night she wanted, so she kept asking me to go on different nights. i never had time to go with her, but i was flattered that she was putting effort in our friendship. then i realized last night, the only reason she was inviting me was bc taylar was out of town. taylar got back last night and alex wouldn't answer any of my texts again when i wanted to go to dinner. basically she uses me. i'm her friend she goes to when her bffs can;t hangout with her. my parents and other friends warn me about her all the time and i know i shouldn't be friends with her, but i do love her. if i sit down and talk with her i know she won't take it seriously and i just don't know what to do anymore. do i let her go? please don't tell me to do that because i can't...any other advice???

My LMP was May 23 and my cycles range from 28(rare)-37(rare) days long with most of my cycles being about 33-35 days. My hubby and I did our little baby dance every day to every other during the week of June 6th-14th which should have been prime ovulating time. We were on vacation and in the ocean/pool every day all day so I didn't notice any stretchy/sticky cm but I do get it every single month! I do not temp. but I did use ovulation sticks and would get two lines but the test was never as dark as the control so either I missed my surge, my urine was too dilute or I didn't ovulate(which I doubt). I forget the exact date but around the 17th of this month I felt a sharp pinch on my right side and I was thinking ovulation or implantation. I took another OPK and got two lines again with the test still lighter than the control. Since then I have had cramping(especially on right side), alternating diarrhea and constipation, tiredness, increased urination, and still no period but the real kicker is my boob KILL! My boobs never hurt before my period but they kill on the sides, nipple is itchy and they feel fuller. Today is day 36 and still no period. I took a first response early pregnancy test this evening and it was negative. I will re-test in a couple days which feels like forever. I honestly feel pregnant. I have occasional bouts of some scant nauseous feeling but it never stays. Anyone else test negative with the early tests and still end up pregnant? what do you think? So i had a fish tank set up, and before i moved (for about a month) i gave my fish to someone and didnt do anything about the water (I know its bad, but it was so hectic moving i didnt have time). All appropriate chemicals have been added to start a new tank, but now there is a clear "film" over every surface in the tank. All the levels (Ph, ammonia, nitrate and nitrite) are within normal range, and the tank has been thouroughly scrubbed before i readded water. I am being charged with something, not sure what yet?

I live in pennsylvania. I went to my friends house to have a couple of drinks. I am 21, but the 4 other people there were 19-20. Keep in mind that they had previously obtained the alcohol from some source, not through me. My buddy ran down the street to the convenient store and got stopped by the police, got charged with DUI etc. The cops came to the house, and I left out the back door. They knew i was there because my car was there, and they had it towed. I was told I would be recieving charges of some sort. I explained to the officer that I am trying to work my way through college and stay out of trouble( i previously had an underage dui about 2 years back ). I told him that was terrified of the possibility that i would get charged for supplying alcohol to minors, and he said he would discuss the story with his chief and see what he could do for me. Im just curious as to what i may be charged with or if there is any way to get out of the charges because i technically wasnt evading or resisting arrest because number one, i didnt do anything arrest-worthy, and two, i was never seen by a cop or told by a cop to freeze or whatever.

I am a 21 year old man and just recently, I was involved in a police chase. While riding my motorcycle I was clocked by a police officer at 97mph. When I saw him behind me on the freeway, I panicked and drove faster. I panicked because my license was suspended do to missing a payment of my restitution. I had two driving without a license after it was suspended, two trucks taken from me and I was scared to lose another vehicle. I have a job with a school district and I am a full time student in a criminal justice program. I also have a girlfriend who I had planned on asking to marry me, although I am not exactly sure when. I took him two exits, then turned around and two exits back. I started pulling off the freeway and my engine blew, causing smoke and fire to my motorcycle. I was then very cooperative and the CHP officer even allowed me to sit in the front seat. I was in jail from 5-28-2011 until 6-2-2011. I was released on bail. My bail was $50,000 so ten percent at $5,000. I am being put up for Felony of evading the police and misdemeanor of reckless driving. When I spoke to my public defender, he told me that they have an offer for 1 year in county. He told me that he would be able to reduce that to 6 months in county or we can take it to trial and it can possibly be dismissed or I can spend time in a state prison. I was caught on camera running from the police but I have been told that even if it does go to trial I can get the time at least reduced. What are my best options at this point? I want to hire a defense attorney but I am unsure if that will end up being a waste of money or would it ultimately benefit me? Also, what can i do to ensure they are persuaded that I am trying my best to turn my ways around. I have no priors, and this is my first major offense. I will do community service, take driving classes, continue in school, as well as get another job to bring my financial situation to a better place. Can anyone tell me what game this is? In the 80's there was an arcade game where you played a detective or private eye. I think you wore a white suit. Basically your character just stands there, but he can roll to the left or right with a button called "evade". You can shoot as well.
